The Challenge
At the Innovation Center in Dallas, NTT wanted to do more than showcase products — they wanted to guide visitors to the most relevant exhibitions based on their individual interests.
With dozens of areas and themes to explore, it was easy for guests to feel overwhelmed or miss something important. NTT needed a way to create structure, spark curiosity, and personalize the journey for each person — without requiring human staff to assist every time.
The Solution: “What Should I Explore?”
By embedding Roccai’s swipe-based recommendation guide directly into the robot’s interface, NTT allowed visitors to interact naturally with the robot and answer a few short questions about their preferences.
Based on each visitor’s input, Roccai instantly generated personalized suggestions for which exhibitions or zones they should explore — whether they were interested in sustainability, AI, smart cities, or immersive tech.

The interface was delivered through NTT’s humanoid robot — a concept similar to LIA, already in use across Danish tourism hubs and hotel receptions, where it assists thousands of guests each month with intelligent, screen-based interactions. Visitors at the Innovation Center could easily swipe, select, and discover relevant content within seconds — right from the robot screen. The result was a seamless, futuristic experience that made exploration both personal and efficient.
